Girls Night In

One of the best parts of owning your own event styling business is when your friends become clients. One of our September brides also happens to be a great friend {we love you KP!}, so while we are in the midst of planning all the pretty details for her big day, the ladies by her side have been busy taking care of her by attending dress fittings, planning the Bachelorette party, Bridal Shower and assisting her with every lovely detail of becoming a bride. When the groomsmen whisked her groom off to his bachelor party we jumped at the opportunity to keep the bride entertained, while giving her maids a break, and hosted a girls night on the back deck.

In case you didn’t know…. we’re obsessed with any combination of cheese and bread.  So naturally, we opted for a few nibbles rather than a large meal. We included a few of the staples for a crowd friendly cheese platter and paired it with fresh local strawberries, cherries and a crusty warm baguette. We brought out grilled pizzas for a late night snack and ended the night with a delicious {homemade by Ellen} fruit tart.

It was so fun to get all of the girls together for a relaxing summer night, we kept it simple and everyone had a blast.

1oz Vodka
2oz Pineapple Juice
Shake / Pour over ice
Top with Champagne
Garnish with your favorite fruit

For a crowd:
2c Vodka
4c Pineapple Juice
Fill Pitcher with Ice, pour mix over ice and stir
Serve individual glasses, top with champagne
Garnish with your favorite fruit
